Send In The Clowns is a filthy, outrageous, and joyful drag revue show celebrating the magic and madness of musical theatre.
The Clowns have been reviewing the situation… and realised what’s big right now is flying the flag. And if you know one thing about the Clowns, they’ll do ANYTHING – to sell a show. They have Re-formed (wink wink) to focus on the ‘Best of British’.
They are ready to muddy their knees on home soil and offer their own hot (pot) takes on musicals: My Fair Theydy, Saddington, Bully Elliott, Sh*tty Sh*tty Bang Bang.. you know the sort. Who will come out on top, as your Nancy supreme?
Join your host cabaret superstar and “incredible vocal powerhouse” (West End Best Friend) Fatt Butcher alongside a stellar line-up of the Midlands’ finest drag & cabaret talents including Dahliah Rivers, Blü Romantic, and Alanna Boden. Expect unique takes on your favourites, and obscure stuff from the back of the musical sofa bastardised beyond belief (not for the easily offended).
Returning to the Rep after a series of sell-out runs with their next original(ish) show, Send In The Clowns: Nancies! promises an unforgettably raucous show packed with outrageous comedy, spine-tingling live vocals, camp cabaret, & sing-a-longs. Each show ends with the unmissable ‘twenty minute musical’, a drag recreation of a legendary musical rehearsed in two days and performed in 20(ish) minutes – chaos is guaranteed!
