Talent Development

At the heart of The Rep is our commitment to celebrating the voices, talent and communities that make up Birmingham and the West Midlands. We provide numerous ways to develop and grow creatively – come and take part.

Our Talent Development department is a key part of The Rep’s role as a training theatre for our region. Every year, we engage with hundreds of people through workshops and masterclasses, playwriting projects, director’s networking groups, R&Ds and our ambitious artist-facilitator development programme, Foundry.

We’re proud to be working in partnership with sector leading organisations such as Sense, the disability charity, to ensure that access and inclusion is embedded in our offers, as well as other arts and cultural organisations that form our vibrant arts ecology in the West Midlands.
