Communications Assistant (Closing date: Sunday 3 December at 5pm)
The Rep invites applications for this exciting role as Communications Assistant in our Audiences and Media team. The successful candidate will assist in the communications and promotion of all Rep shows and activities including new world premiere productions of musicals, comedies and new writing across our three performance spaces.
Working in a busy, exciting and fast-moving marketing, PR and communications office, you will support on a range of marketing activity that promotes the work of The Rep (on and off stage) in an imaginative, relevant and inspiring way. You’ll contribute to campaign planning and delivery in order to develop audience retention, loyalty and frequency. This role would suit someone early in their career but eager to progress in the world of PR, communications and social media.

Pay: £23,605.92. per annum

Freelance Stage Management Opportunities
The Rep are looking to expand our pool of freelance Stage Managers and are currently recruiting for our 2024 shows. We would love to hear from CM’s SMs, DSMs, ASMs and ASM Book covers who are available from January 2024. We welcome all applications but are particularly keen to hear from those from the Global Majority or who identify as D/deaf, Disabled or Neurodiverse as these are underrepresented in our workforce and the industry.
Casual Technicians (Stage)
The Rep is looking to expand it’s pool of casual technicians. Casual Technicians will provide technical services, install, operate and maintain staging, lighting & sound technical equipment for The Rep productions, visiting companies and conferences as required.
Casual Technicians will at times be required to flexibly support across all disciplines to ensure that all technical, maintenance and operations are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Pay: £10.90 per hour, subject to overtime over 39 hours and all other additional payments in line with BECTU. Enhanced rate available for additional duties including Duty Technician.. Pay rate of £11.80 per hour for enhanced duties, e.g. Duty Technician.
