The Agatha Christie Cure with Cathy Rentzenbrink

At a time of personal upheaval, writer Cathy Rentzenbrink returned to her bookshelf, searching for solace and escape via the novels of her first literary love: the great Queen of Crime, Agatha Christie. But as she was soon to discover, Christie’s work wasn’t just about criminals and capers, mysteries and murders. Inside some of the most treasured pages of the 20th century, she also hid the intimate details of her own life too.

A literary detective story full of her trademark wit and humour, The Agatha Christie Cure is Cathy’s joyful love-letter to this most beloved and enduring of writers, and a reminder that the answers to life’s most challenging questions can often be unearthed between the covers of our favourite books.

In conversation with Midlands-based crime writer, Natalie Marlow.
