Birmingham Rep in Centenary Square, Birmingham
A man wearing a cap gestures as if explaining something to a woman in a patterned blouse, who stands with arms restrained at her side. Another woman stands behind, looking intently, hands on the first woman's back.

Still We Rise

Stories of Hope and Home is a community of people who have fled their homes in search of safety.

Through this piece, devised and written by the group, they explore the different experiences which have left them feeling trapped and disempowered; but also how personal resilience and community support enables them to rise up and live joyful, fulfilled lives despite the constraints and struggles they face.
