For one night only, powerhouse performers Meow Meow and Ramin Karimloo share a feast of their favourite songs. This unmissable event is the spectacular kick-off to The Rep’s Raise the Roof campaign – a vital fundraiser supporting our work with local artists, young people and communities across Birmingham while The House undergoes essential roof works next Spring.
Fresh from our killer production of Sondheim’s musical masterpiece, Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, A Night with Meow Meow and Ramin Karimloo sees the show’s two stars perform their favourite showstopping numbers, backed by a nine-piece live band under the masterful baton of Musical Supervisor Dr John Rigby. Expect a night out that’ll leave you humming long after the curtain falls.
The evening features Ramin Karimloo — West End, Broadway and international legend (Sweeney Todd, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Addams Family) — who currently commands the stage as the vengeful, velvet-voiced Sweeney. Joining him is award-winning entertainer Meow Meow (Sweeney Todd, Emma Rice’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Guys and Dolls) who is bringing her signature flair to the iconic Mrs. Lovett.

Raise The Roof is our vital fundraiser and your chance to help secure the future of this iconic building and the stories brought to life on our stages and beyond.
From February to October 2027, parts of The Rep’s roof will undergo essential works, with The House stage temporarily closed for eight months. These works will improve the roofs environmental performance and protect the structure for years to come.
During this time, The Rep is open. Performances will remain on our Studio and Door stages and our work with artists, young people and communities will continue to deliver real impact across our city.
