Feedback Fridays

Professional support, advice and feedback for scriptwriters

Feedback Fridays takes place every 2 months and gives scriptwriters from the West Midlands the opportunity to receive valuable support and feedback on their work from The Rep’s in-house directors.

From all submissions we select 5 scripts, which our directors and Talent Development team carefully read and review. You’ll then receive detailed and constructive feedback to help you continue to develop your work. We’ll also signpost you to exciting writing opportunities across the West Midlands and beyond so you can further hone your craft.

How to get involved

We’ll need you to submit a synopsis for your script via a simple online application form, which you can access from the links below during the following submission windows:

FRI 29 MAR – TUE 2 APR 

FRI 24 MAY – TUE 28 MAY 

FRI 26 JUL – TUE 30 JUL 

FRI 27 SEP – TUE 1 OCT

Requirements

To be eligible you must:

  • live, work or learn in the West Midlands
  • never previously have had your work produced by The Rep send us your own original work that has not previously been produced for a 2-week run or longer

We welcome scripts from writers working alone, as well as teams and companies. There will only be 5 scripts selected per window, and we will let you know if your work has been chosen by e-mail. We will be unable to provide feedback to those who have been unsuccessful, however we do encourage you to apply again. Good luck!
