LGBTQTeeHee! 10-week comedy course

Ever watched a comedian and wondered if you could do that too?

LGBTQTeeHee! is a supportive 10-week stand-up comedy programme for LGBTQ+ people who want to develop confidence, creativity and performance skills. Starting with the fundamentals of comedy and ending with a live showcase performance, participants are guided through every step of the process.

Over ten weeks you’ll explore comedy personas, joke-writing techniques and performance skills, generating material, refining your voice and learning how to shape your experiences into original comedy. Along the way, you’ll receive feedback from professional comics, mentors and fellow participants in a welcoming and encouraging environment.

Whether you’re completely new to stand-up or looking for the confidence to take your first steps onto the stage, LGBTQTeeHee! provides the tools, support and community to help you get there.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have developed your own polished five-minute comedy set, with the chance to perform in the LGBTQTeeHee! Comedy Festival 2026.
