Fri 10 & Sat 11 Jul Performance Update:

Please note, train strikes are planned to take place on Fri 10 and Sat 11 Jul and there will be limited services on both days across West Midlands Railway trains. We recommend mapping your route in advance and leaving plenty of time for your journey.

Hot Weather Warning:

Due to the current hot weather, audiences are welcome to bring a bottle of water to help stay hydrated during your visit. We also have water stations available at our bars to grab cups of water if needed.

Raise the Roof

Raise the Roof. Support The Rep. Invest in Imagination
Raise the Roof: Raise the Roof, Support The Rep, Invest in Imagination

Raise The Roof is our vital fundraiser and your chance to help secure the future of this iconic building and the stories brought to life on our stages and beyond.

From February to October 2027, parts of The Rep’s roof will undergo essential works, with The House stage temporarily closed for eight months. These works will improve the roofs environmental performance and protect the structure for years to come.

During this time, The Rep is open. Performances will remain on our Studio and Door stages and our work with artists, young people and communities will continue to deliver real impact across our city.

Your support today ensures the work extends beyond our stages.

Your support will help The Rep to continue to produce ambitious theatre, invest in artists and open up opportunities for young people across Birmingham through our Creative Learning and Talent Development programmes.

This is your chance to play a part in ensuring artists can keep creating and young people across the city can continue to access opportunities through theatre.

£5 Helps to ensure more young people can access theatre and creative opportunities through The Rep.

£10 Helps to support artists and communities to continue engaging with theatre across Birmingham.

£25 Helps to create opportunities for young people who might not otherwise have access to theatre.

£50 Helps to support The Rep’s work with artists, young people and communities while essential roof works take place.

Any contribution will be gratefully received.

Donate Now

Every visit and donation you make plays a part in securing the future of The Rep and the stories still to come. THANK YOU!

The Rep was one of the main reasons I applied to drama school. It was the first theatre I visited as a child and the first theatre I ever performed in. Without it my life may have taken a completely different course. The Rep’s impact goes far beyond the economic contribution it makes to my home city – it is an essential and vital pathway for aspiring talent, for creating truly world class productions and for welcoming back that talent when it has flowered.”
