Full Cast Announced for Withnail and I

Today, the complete cast of Withnail and I has been announced.

Joining the already announced BAFTA and IFTA nominated actor Robert Sheehan as Withnail, Adonis Siddique as Marwood (and I) and Malcolm Sinclair as Uncle Monty are the full cast of Adam Young as Danny, Israel J Fredericks as Presuming Ed, Morgan Philpott as W*nker/Jake the Poacher. The cast is completed by Matt Devitt (Farmer/Colonel & Band), Adam Sopp as (Geezer/Policeman, Band & MD) and Sooz Kempner (Miss Blenehassitt/Policewoman & Band).

The creative team, joining the writer of both the original film and this new stage-adaptation Bruce Robinson, double Olivier award-winning director, Sean Foley and designer Alice Power are:  Jessica Hung Han Yn (Lighting Design), Ben & Max Ringham (Sound & Composition), Akhila Krishnan (Video Design), Candida Caldicott (Music Supervision), Ginny Schiller (Casting Director), Alison de Burgh (Fight Director), Sara Joyce (Associate Director), Simon Marlow (Production Manager), Jennifer Taillefer (Production Environmental Manager), Kay Wilton (Costume Supervisor),  Robin Morgan (Props Supervisor) and Andriea Nelson (Wigs Supervisor).

This hilarious, tragic, and wild, comedy like no other, premieres here at the Birmingham Rep from Fri 3 May until Sat 25 May 2024.
