Robert Ewens

Robert Ewens is in Private Peaceful, playing Big Joe/Wounded Soldier/Soldier/Orderly.

Robert’s early drama training with Mind the Gap, included Oxford School of Speech and Drama, Arts Ed, Guildford University and Mountview Academy.

He has enjoyed prominent roles in several popular television series and is probably best known as Benny in Father Brown and as Max in the Harlan Coben Netflix series The Stranger.

An experienced stage actor, he has toured the UK including his role with the English National Opera and he received rave reviews in The Guardian and in The Stage, for the sensitivity of his portrayal of Lennie in Steinbeck’s Of Mice & Men.

He is an enthusiastic gamer and loves technology and movies. He has a great sense of humour and is quick with his responses.
