Lori Hopkins
Lori Hopkins is in the company of Would You Bet Against Us?
Lori has been a professional puppeteer since 2009. She trained at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Prague, Rose Bruford College and London School of Puppetry.
Lori performs regularly as a puppeteer for Little Angel Theatre and most recently appeared in their productions Smartest Giant in Town, The Bed and Me.… For other companies Lori has appeared in Firebird (Bamboozle Theatre), The Bear (Pins & Needles), Peter Pan and Moominsummer Madness (Polka Theatre) and as Sally the Astronaut (Cosmic Shambles Network).
Lori tours her own productions and has just premiered her brand new show Laika The Space Dog which will appear at theatres and outdoor venues this Summer.
Lori has directed puppetry for Shakespeare’s Globe Education, Potential Difference Theatre Company, Orange Tree Theatre and Ensemble Tempus Fugit. She delivers a wide range of education and community projects that use puppetry as a tool for accessibility, learning and developing social and performance skills.
During the pandemic Lori has created four digital short films including two shadow puppetry productions hosted on Little Angel Theatre’s YouTube channel, a music video for Goblin Theatre’s Nursery Rhyme Party Time and an international collaboration with FolkLog India and British Council India.
