Lawrence Watson is an animator for What’s New Pussycat?
Lawrence Watson is a freelance animator who has worked on many hit theatre shows over the last ten years. He also works on large scale special events such as the Olympics Opening Ceremony in London 2012. He is a regular collaborator with 59 Productions enjoying success with them on the award winning musical An American In Paris. Recent work with 59 Productions include Marnie (MET Opera 2018) and Invisible Cities (Manchester International Festival 2019). Working alongside video designer Timothy Bird he created animations for The Hudsucker Proxy which won best design at the UK theatre awards (2015). With Akhila Krishnan he has created animation for Mamma Mia: The Party (O2 Arena) and has also create animation for the forthcoming Sound Of Colour (Arts House Jersey).
