Karen Johal
Karen Johal is part of the repertory cast for Sky Comedy Rep.
A Birmingham native, Karen Johal moved to Manhattan, New York to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2014. Since graduating she has worked extensively in theatre, film and television both in the US and UK. Her selected theatre credits include People, Places And Things, Blackbird (Let Me In); Julius Caesar (Shakespeare in the Park, NYC); Journey To America (Carnegie Hall, NYC); Good Fit (Wow Cafe); As You Like It, Lysistrata (The Mechanicals); Camel (The New Natives); She Kills Monsters, Welcome To Thebes, Truest (AADA) and Me And The Girls: A Noel Coward Musical (with Alan Cumming). Karen’s most notable film credits include Man On The Phone (Red Bear); Teething (NYU); Frank’s Plan (Amazon Prime); Everyone Else Has (Youtube) and Cartwright (Henleon). Karen is represented by Shack Artists, she recently starred in the national 2021 Christmas advert for TK Maxx. Karen is excited to be back in her hometown to be a part of this project for The Rep.
