Joe Beighton
Joe Beighton is a musical director and musical supervisor. He is assistant musical director on What’s New Pussycat?
Joe is a Musical Director and Musical Supervisor based in London. Joe studied music at the University of Cambridge before training at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. In 2019 he received an Olivier Award nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Music for his work on SIX, as well as the Jeff Award for Musical Direction. Musical Supervisor credits include: SIX (UK Tours/Arts Theatre, Broks Atkinson Theatre/Chicago Shakespeare Theatre/Sydney Opera House/NCL Cruise Ships); St Anne Comes Home (Actors Church) and 42 Balloons (in development with Perfect Pitch). Musical Director credits include: Sweeney Todd (Central School of Speech and Drama); Merrily We Roll Along (LAMDA); Bare (LAMDA); Southern Belles (Kings Head Theatre).
