Tuesday

By Alison Carr
Directed by Ella Kirk
Performed by Young Rep Intermediates

Nothing ever happens on a Tuesday. This is what the pupils at Lane End School always believed until one day, a terrible weather phenomenon struck their school plunging them into a period of chaos and confusion, when alternate versions of themselves begin to fall from a gigantic crack in the sky. The students at the school must find a way to help the newcomers get back to their original universe and save their friends who have been taken from them.

Bright. Young. Things.

By Georgia Christou
Directed by Jasmin Hylton
Performed by Solihull Young Rep

On a reality television show, six remarkable – and remarkably young – geniuses are competing for the coveted Golden Brain trophy and the title ‘Britain’s Brainiest Child’. As the contestants battle it out round after round, the pressure mounts, the spotlight gets harsher, and each is faced with questions they were never expecting. Who will win and who will lose – and what exactly does winning mean anyway?
