My Good Bright Wolf
with Sarah Moss
This event has passed
As a child, Sarah Moss learnt that the female body and mind were battlegrounds; a combination of 1970s austerity and second wave feminism taught her to keep herself slim but never be vain, to be ambitious but restrained; to stay small.
Years later, Sarah found herself in A&E as the return of her teenage anorexia had become a medical emergency, forcing her to reckon with all that she had denied her hard-working body and furiously turning mind.
Sarah’s memoir, My Good Bright Wolf, explores contested memories of girlhood, the controlling voices that dogged her every thought and the writing and books that allowed her to run free.
