Join theatre practitioner Tyrone Huggins, Associate Artist at The Rep, to explore approaches to co-creation and collaboration in creative work.
If you are a theatre maker or practitioner looking to grow your knowledge, apply new learning to your practice or want a better understanding of co-creation ahead of approaching Arts Council England for funding, this session is for you.
During the session you will collaboratively draw upon word, sound, image and other performance elements that can be used to build performance work and help you gain insight into how to apply your learned skills.
Price
£15 per person, £10 West Midlands based artists, with 2 bursary places available.
Running time
This session will last 3 hours including regular breaks to ensure you get the most out of attending.

About Tyrone Huggins
Tyrone Huggins is an Associate Artist at The Rep, Geraldine Connor Foundation and Forced Entertainment, and an actor with more than ninety stage productions to his credit. He has collaborated and co-created with people nationwide and internationally across a rich career in theatre and the performing arts. This includes work with The Birmingham Rep, Women & Theatre, Talking Birds, Forced Entertainment, Eclipse Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Tyrone has directed many youth theatre, amateur and professional productions, and has served thirteen years on the boards of Phoenix Dance Company (Chair 1997-2001); Birmingham Repertory Theatre (1997-2005); West Midlands Regional Arts Council England (2002-2008); West Midlands Regional and National Chair of Sustained Theatre (2005-2013); Friction Arts (2017-2022); Belgrade Theatre (2021 to present).
