Broken Threads
with Mishal Husain
This event has passed
Broken Threads uncovers the story of Mishal Husain’s grandparents, whose lives were changed forever in 1947 by Partition. The discovery of a fragment of an old sari incites a journey through her family’s history, exploring the lives of her grandparents through anecdotes, letters, diaries and tapes, uncovering four lives shaped by the Raj, a world war, independence and Partition.
Join us for an evening with acclaimed newsreader and journalist Mishal Husain, where the lives of her grandparents are at the centre of a story about empire, political upheaval, community and family.
