
Meet the Cast of The Talented Mr Ripley
With September just around the corner, we’ve been having a thrilling time over the last couple of weeks announcing the casts of our chilling new murder-mystery, Inspector Morse: House of Ghosts and the cast of the brand-new comedy thriller from Original Theatre, Murder at Midnight.
But let’s take a step back from the murder mysteries and dive right into the stage adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s gripping psychological thriller, The Talented Mr. Ripley joining us from Mon 22 – Sat 27 Sep!
This tour marks the 70th anniversary of the release of Patricia Highsmith’s novel, which became the source material for the 2000 Oscar nominated film starring Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow as well as the 2024 Netflix adaptation starring Andrew Scott and the stage adaptation.
Bruce Herbelin-Earle (best known for playing ‘Marcus Greenbridge’ in the Emmy Award-winning Netflix series Free Rein, which ran for three seasons alongside two standalone TV films) who’ll be making his professional theatre debut as Dickie Greenleaf.
Also joining the cast will be Christopher Bianchi (Othello, Tobacca Factory; Aesop’s Fables, Bristol Old Vic) as Herbert Greenleaf/Roverini, Cary Crankson (Death of England, National Theatre & Soho Place Theatre; A View From The Bridge, West End) as Freddie Miles/Alvin McCarron, Leda (Antigone, UK Tour) as Cleo/Dottie and Jason Eddy (Othello, Royal Shakespeare Theatre; The Rat Trap, Off-Broadway) as Peter/Fausto.
The cast is completed by Lachlan McCall (A Christmas Carol and The Merry Wives of Windsor, OVO Theatre), Hollie Sullivan (The Mousetrap, UK Tour; Private Lives, Vienna’s English Theatre) and Aldous Ciokajlo-Squire (Doctor Who, BBC/Disney+; Everything Now, Netflix).

The Talented Mr. Ripley marks the third production joining our Autumn season of gripping Murder Mysteries and Thrillers full of twists, chilling suspense and wickedly dark humour, followed shortly after by Thunder Road Theatre‘s haunting love letter to classic theatre ghost stories and cinema’s greatest frights, Shock Horror (Fri 31 Oct – Sat 1 Nov); and culminating with our World Premiere of our laugh-out-loud festive murder mystery Sherlock Holmes and The 12 Days of Christmas (Fri 14 Nov – Sun 11 Jan) made in association with Heartaches Ltd.
