Full Cast of Murder at Midnight Revealed

If you couldn’t tell by now we’re REALLY excited about this upcoming season of Murder Mysteries and Thrillers here at The Rep.

And since we just announced the full cast of our chilling new murder-mystery, Inspector Morse: House of Ghosts last week, we thought what a better time to announce the cast of the brand-new comedy thriller, Murder at Midnight joining us at The Rep from Tue 16 – Sat 20 Sep!

The cast includes previously announced soap and stage favourites Jason Durr (Heartbeat, Casualty) who’ll be playing  Jonny ‘The Cyclops’; Susie Blake (Victoria Wood: As Seen on TV, Coronation Street) who’ll be playing Shirley; and Max Bowden (best known for his role as Ben Mitchell in EastEnders) who’ll be playing Paul.

They will be joined by National Television Award-winning actress Katie McGlynn (best known as the bubbly Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street) as Lisa.

The cast is completed by Callum Balmforth as Russell, Peter Moreton as Trainwreck and Iryna Poplavska as Cristina. With Bella Farr and Andy McLeod as Police Officers/Understudies.

One house. Seven suspects… and a murder at midnight.

Meet The Cast

Guaranteed to keep you guessing until the final stroke of midnight…

It’s New Year’s Eve in a quiet corner of Kent and a killer is in the house. We meet Jonny ‘The Cyclops’ – the notorious gangster, his glamorous wife, his trigger-happy sidekick, his mum – who’s seeing things, her very jittery carer, plus a vicar who’s hiding something, and a nervous burglar dressed as a clown. Throw in a suitcase full of cash, a stash of deadly weapons, and one infamous unsolved murder…what could possibly go wrong? Join the murder mystery with a difference. One house. Seven suspects… and a murder at midnight.

Murder at Midnight marks the second production joining this gripping season of full twists, chilling suspense and wickedly dark humour, followed shortly after by The Faction‘s stage adaptation of psychological thriller The Talented Mr. Ripley (Mon 22 – Sat 27 Sep); Thunder Road Theatre‘s haunting love letter to classic theatre ghost stories and cinema’s greatest frights, Shock Horror (Fri 31 Oct – Sat 1 Nov); and culminating with our World Premiere of our laugh-out-loud festive murder mystery Sherlock Holmes and The 12 Days of Christmas (Fri 14 Nov – Sun 11 Jan) made in association with Heartaches Ltd.
