Tarik was born in Melbourne, Australia.
Film and TV credits include: Mary Poppins Returns, The Little Mermaid (Disney); Big Night Of Musicals (BBC1) and the upcoming release Aladdin Live! on Disney+.
Theatre credits include: The Wiz (Hope Mill Theatre); Aladdin (Prince Edward Theatre); Bring It On (The Athenaeum, Melbourne); iNk’d (Colchester Fringe); MADIBA (Australian & New Zealand Tour); ZUP (La Compagnie Urbaine, Switzerland) and The Lion King (International Tour).
Research & development credits include: choreographic workshops for Bat Out of Hell and Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs
Stage and dance credits include: FKA Twigs, Justin Bieber, Aston Merrygold, Keala Settle, Kwaye, Missy Higgins, Melbourne Fashion Week, Erica, Sobol’s Wallow and The Weekly (ABC).
Choreography credits include: Associate Choreographer for Beautiful (UK Tour); Choreographer for Make-A-Wish Annual Gala (2015); Redken Brews Official Launch (Melbourne, Australia) and Resident Choreographer for FX Entertainment. Tarik has assisted choreographers including Joey Pizzi, Tara Nicole Hughes, Rob Rich and Freya List.
Other Work: Television commercials for Kmart and Pringles; Modelling for Vogue (Online), Paul Smith, Samsonite, K-mart and Hard Yakka and Motion capture artist for the WWE Champions 2022 video game.
