Deputy Head of Sound
Working alongside the Head of Sound and AV, this role has responsibility for all Sound and AV requirements for Rep productions and will assume a hands-on role in the day to day running of the department. You will ensure excellent service is consistently provided to staff, freelancers, and customers and visitors to The Rep and UVB events. This role will require you to deputise for the Head of Sound and AV and ensure the efficient technical management of events and productions. There is also a responsibility to ensure that both digital technology and sustainability are at the heart of every project.
Pay: £32,694.52 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent, full time (39 hrs p/wk)

Bar Assistant - Closing Sunday 14th September
The Bar Assistant role will be responsible for ensuring our customers have a first-class visitor experience that reflects the mission and values of the organisation. You will be vital to the smooth running of the front of house hospitality, and it will be crucial that you are a superb communicator. You must be able manage work quickly and manage several tasks at one time, all whilst maintaining a professional, calm and welcoming attitude.
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Employment Type: Casual worker, flexible hours. You will provide availability and be engaged by the business based on that availability, as and when required.

Theatre Technician Apprentice - Closing Monday 15th September
The Theatre Technician Apprentice is responsible to the Technical Manager, assisting with technical support on all The Rep productions, visiting productions and events. The Rep has three separate technical departments, Lighting, Stage and Sound/Video. The technical departments are run by the Technical Manager. Each department has a Head of Department and a Deputy. This role works with all these departments.
This role follows the Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship scheme and leads to a Level 3 qualification. You’ll also complete the Association of British Theatre Technicians Bronze Award qualification.
Pay: £18,200 per annum. This meets the National Minimum Wage for apprentices in the UK, and will increase to National Living Wage after 12 months in post if you are over 21 years old.
Employment Type: This is a fixed term 18-month apprentice contract, full-time (35 hrs p/wk)

Scenic Maker Apprentice - Closing Wednesday 17th September
Our Scenic Maker Apprenticeship offers a hands-on training opportunity for those wishing to take their first steps towards a career in making scenic elements in the performing arts industry. This role will work with each scenic department at the Rep: Workshop, Paintshop, and Props. A Scenic Maker is responsible for creating all aspects of stage scenery. They will realise the designer’s vision by working from the construction drawings provided to build various pieces of set and props.
This role follows the Scenic Construction Technician Apprenticeship scheme and leads to a Level 3 qualification.
Pay: £18,200 per annum. This meets the National Minimum Wage for apprentices in the UK, and will increase to National Living Wage after 12 months in post if you are over 21 years old.
Employment Type: This is a fixed term 24-month apprentice contract, full-time (35 hrs p/wk)

Duty Manager - Closing Thursday 18th September
Our Duty Manager role leads the Customer Experience Team on shift and helps to ensure that the Visitor Experience is First Class and is reflective of the company’s vision and values. As Duty Manager you will have overall responsibility for all building activities and will lead from the front in the event of an unexpected situation.
Pay: £28,697.32 pro rata (Actual salary £15,080 per annum)
Employment type: Permanent part time role. 1020 hours per year (based on average 20 hours per week).
