Creative Learning Director - Closing Tuesday 26th August

The Rep’s Creative Learning Director leads the development and delivery of an inclusive, high-quality programme of theatre-based learning and engagement. This role connects young people, adults, schools, and communities with The Rep’s work, embedding participation within its artistic and strategic vision.

Working with the Artistic and Deputy Artistic Directors, this role manages the Creative Learning team, builds key partnerships, and contributes to programming and audience development. This role is a part of our senior leadership team and will oversee safeguarding, departmental budgets, fundraising support, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Pay: £50,000 per annum with more for an exceptional candidate.

Employment Type: Permanent, full time (39 hrs p/wk)

Building Services Multi Skilled Technician - Closing Friday 29th August

The Building Services Multi Skilled Technician works within the Facilities and Operations Team and is responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the Rep and its associated buildings providing technical and physical assistance for a variety of maintenance activities including both reactive and planned preventative ensuring that our equipment, plants and assets remain in optimal working condition, preventing failures and breakdowns of systems and installations.

Pay: £30,826.27 per annum

Trustee - Closing Sunday 31st August

We are looking for an individual to join our trustee board who has marketing and communications expertise and who can demonstrate a track record of successfully engaging with a wide and diverse range of communities. Digital experience and the use of data in understanding customer engagement and behaviour would be very useful additions.

This is a unremunerated role and reasonable expenses may be claimed.

Theatre Technician Apprentice - Closing Monday 15th September

The Theatre Technician Apprentice is responsible to the Technical Manager, assisting with technical support on all The Rep productions, visiting productions and events. The Rep has three separate technical departments, Lighting, Stage and Sound/Video. The technical departments are run by the Technical Manager. Each department has a Head of Department and a Deputy. This role works with all these departments.

This role follows the Creative Venue Technician Apprenticeship scheme and leads to a Level 3 qualification. You’ll also complete the Association of British Theatre Technicians Bronze Award qualification.

Pay: £18,200 per annum. This meets the National Minimum Wage for apprentices in the UK, and will increase to National Living Wage after 12 months in post if you are over 21 years old.

Employment Type: This is a fixed term 18-month apprentice contract, full-time (35 hrs p/wk)

Scenic Maker Apprentice - Closing Wednesday 17th September

Our Scenic Maker Apprenticeship offers a hands-on training opportunity for those wishing to take their first steps towards a career in making scenic elements in the performing arts industry. This role will work with each scenic department at the Rep: Workshop, Paintshop, and Props. 

A Scenic Maker is responsible for creating all aspects of stage scenery. They will realise the designer’s vision by working from the construction drawings provided to build various pieces of set and props.

This role follows the Scenic Construction Technician Apprenticeship scheme and leads to a Level 3 qualification.

Pay: £18,200 per annum. This meets the National Minimum Wage for apprentices in the UK, and will increase to National Living Wage after 12 months in post if you are over 21 years old.

Employment Type: This is a fixed term 24-month apprentice contract, full-time (35 hrs p/wk)

Information Session: 4pm to 5pm, Friday 12th September at the Rep
