The Company (18 - 25)

The Company is The Rep’s theatre ensemble for young adults, who meet on Thursday evenings. It aims to develop, challenge and nurture performers, preparing them to be the next generation of leaders within the cultural industry. It is a training ground for young actors and many members have gained their first professional experiences through The Rep.

Previous work includes a film soon to be released entitled Made in Birmingham; a 90’s themed Twelfth Night and a musical Midsummer Night’s Dream performed on the mainstage; Brecht’s Fear and Misery of the Third Reich; a verbatim piece exploring generational change called Times They Are A-Changin’, and a physical theatre performance of The Ramayana. The company also hold an annual showcase with the opportunity to perform their own work.

Cost
The cost per term is £80 with bursaries available.
