Tuesday 19 September - BOLDtext Playwrights
Who can we trust for our news and information? What's impartial and unbiased in a world of vested interests, populism and echo chambers? Social Media offers truth and transparency, but also lies and confusion: Faking it has never been so easy.
BOLDtext Playwrights have spent the summer pondering how we Get Real and counter this culture of easy lies, and now Nicola Jones, Liz John, Tim Stimpson and Julia Wright present brand new short plays exploring the importance of sorting fact from fiction.

Open Door gives The DOOR over to West Midlands based playwriting groups to have the space to test their new plays in front of invited audiences.
Curated, managed and produced by the groups themselves, this season of Open Door sees the space being claimed by the Cucumber Writers Group and the BOLDtext Playwrights. The Cucumber Writers Group grew out of The REP's Write Away playwriting programme, they meet regularly to share, make and develop new writing. BOLDtext Playwrights are eight West Midlands-based playwrights who collaborate to create more opportunities and platforms for their work.
For more information on the writers groups and the work they might present please contact the Cucumber Writers on email@example.com and BOLDtext Playwrights on firstname.lastname@example.org or at boldtextcollective.wordpress.com.
