From Shore To Shore
Three stories, three lives, three journeys to find a place to call home. Cheung Wing is escaping from war, Mei Lan's had enough of the potato peeler and Yi Di wants the impossible; her parents' approval. Taking place over a delicious two-course meal, From Shore To Shore blends English, Mandarin and Cantonese to tell the stories of migrant Chinese communities living in the UK.
Award-winning writer Mary Cooper and multilingual collaborator M.W. Sun have woven these tales of love and loss, struggle and survival into a powerful drama told alongside great food and live music
