Description

Elephant will be staged in thrust, meaning that there is additional seating available around the left and right hand side of the performance space. Tickets for these seats are just £10 and will give you a more immersive theatre experience. Simply select 'Stage Side Seats' when prompted to select your seating area. Please note that these seats are not onstage.

This is family. Real flesh and blood, not out of a catalogue or an Oxo advert.

Vira hasn't seen her sister Deesh for years. Deesh's kids, Amy and Bill, want to know why but nobody's telling them anything.

When Deesh invites her sister to Amy's flashy party, Vira reckons it's time to come home and move on. Time to stop watching the telly, get out of her council flat, stick on a glitzy sari and embrace her nearest and dearest.

But is it possible to forgive and forget?  And when a family is built on lies, will it be destroyed by the truth?

Directed by the Royal Court's Associate Director, Lucy Morrison and penned by the award-winning playwright of Khandan (Family), this unmissable new show chronicles the unravelling of a family with a secret.

Elephant features Yasmin Wilde (Anita And Me at The REP), Sukh Ojla (Victoria And Abdul and Pyar Actually), Ezra Faroque Khan (The Kite Runner), Farshid Rokey and Raagni Sharma.

Elephant will be embarking on a community tour following it's run at The REP. Find the tour dates here.
