Corporate Social Responsibility
The REP's leading education and community outreach programme is the most diverse of any cultural organisation in the city. It's at the heart of what we do.
Every year we have over 70,000 contacts with young people and adults in the community on projects from drama or writing workshops to large-scale productions. With the help of partners we can continue to nurture the region's talented young artists, welcome new audiences and to reach out to the communities of Birmingham and beyond.
We can offer corporate partners the chance to address a range of their CSR objectives and to make a real difference to the local community. Opportunities can include:
- Subsidising tickets for local disadvantaged school children
- Supporting Relaxed Performances
- Funding bursaries for our youth theatre and artist development schemes
- Supporting large scale community projects
- Funding REP education projects delivered in local schools
- Funding apprenticeships
- Volunteering opportunities for staff
Wesleyan – Theatre for Elders
The Wesleyan Foundation likes to find those unique projects that support our community and working with the brilliant Birmingham Rep we are delighted to have funded this initiative. Covid 19 has hit our communities hard and many people are feeling alone and we feel that the arts is a fantastic way of connecting those who are feeling isolated and still offering a slice of normality!

KPMG – Young REP Sponsor
There's never been a more important time to support our communities, particularly given the impact Covid-19 has had on opportunities for young people. So I'm delighted that KPMG is continuing its support for the Young REP, which continues to play a huge part in our communities by helping young people to develop life skills. I know from personal experience how valuable the programmes and skills they provide are, so as we look towards a year of recovery, we look forward to supporting The REP and its members with our skills and expertise.
