Statement regarding tonight's performance
Further to our statement last night we can confirm that we are investigating the cause of the technical fault with the combined heat and power plant located beneath the theatre. We thank our staff for evacuating our audiences as a precautionary measure and also the emergency services for their swift response and support.
The theatre will be open as usual this evening (Wed 14 Feb, 2018) and we look forward to welcoming audiences for the performances of Brief Encounter and the Student Drama Showcase.
Unfortunately we are currently without heating and hot water so the restaurant and the bar will be closed and it's possible our toilets will also be closed. Free bottles of water will be given out and bar and toilet facilities are being made available to our customers next door at Symphony Hall and the ICC.
Audiences that were evacuated last night (Tue 13 Feb) will be contacted by our box office team to arrange for their tickets to be exchanged or refunded.
