Introducing Our New REP Foundry Artists
This week we've welcomed our new cohort of REP Foundry artists for 2016/17. They are: Theatre maker Elinor Coleman, writers Manjeet Mann, Thomas Moran and Patrick Russell, and directors Jacob Crutchley, Finley-Rose Townsend and Balisha Karra.
Over the coming year the REP Foundry artists will be given the support and space to develop their creative ideas through masterclasses, workshops and sharings in our Tales And Tonic evenings.
As part of this year's REP Foundry we are also running an Introduction to Theatre Making programme in collaboration with Fierce Festival as part of their Fierce Forward artists development programme. The REP artists taking part in this are: Chantal Erraoui, Sam Geroge, Aliyah Holder and Zeddie Lawal.
The REP is committed to supporting and showcasing the rich talent that exists in the West Midlands and values the voice of theatre artists that live and work here. This is our fourth consecutive year of the REP Foundry scheme and we're delighted that so much work developed with us by our past Foundry cohort has found its way on to the stage.
Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing blogs from each of the REP Foundry artists.
