Calling All Local Artists, Designers And Illustrators
Birmingham Repertory Theatre is looking for local artists, designers and illustrators to come up with an original poster design inspired by The Hundred And One Dalmatians.
To celebrate the opening of their festive production, The REP will be taking over the exhibition space at the main entrance of The Library of Birmingham and wish to decorate one wall with locally produced artwork.
To enter, artists simply have to create their piece and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org, along with their name and location. The winning piece and four runners up will be selected for display from 6 December 2017 – 13 January 2018 and each will receive tickets to see The Hundred And One Dalmatians live on stage. The deadline for artwork submission is Monday 27 November, 5pm.
Rules and Regulations
Each entry must be an original unpublished work that you have created that does not include material in which a third party has intellectual property rights. The work should be created: Size/Resolution: 50cm x 70 cm (5906×8268 pixels), 300dpi Color Space: (CMYK) Orientation: portrait. Email your poster as: Size/Resolution: 700×980 pixels, 72dpi Color Space: (RGB) File type: JPEG or PNG Orientation: portrait. File should not exceed the 5mb. Each Entry must not be obscene, indecent, offensive, violent, hateful, or libellous.
Artists/Designers will retain all rights to their original posters art. Birmingham Repertory Theatre shall have the right to reproduce for exhibition purposes.
The Hundred And One Dalmatians plays at The REP from 30 November - 13 January.
