Tomoyo Tanimoto Jequier
Tomoyo started her ballet training at the age of 10. Following her early training she gained a scholarship for Showa School of Performing Arts in Japan. She then moved to London to attend the second and third years at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. After Tomoyo's graduation from Rambert school in 2008, she joined Vienna Festival Ballet where she performed many roles as principle and soloist.
Her credits include: Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Copelia, Cinderella, La Sylphide, Les Sylphide and Paquita, as well as contemporary works.
In 2016, Tomoyo performed as Geisha in Madam Butterfly by English National Opera at London Coliseum. She also collaborated with Korean National Ballet (Swan Lake) and Richmond Orchestra (La Sylphide).
Tomoyo joined The Snowman in 2011 and has continually enjoyed performing in London and on tour. She is delighted to be returning to The Snowman, which has felt like family to her and is very much looking forward to sharing with you all.
