Federico began his studies in 2002 at the Accademia Cecchetti dancing school in his hometown Ravenna, where he studied ballet (Cecchetti method) modern jazz and later on, also contemporary dance and hip hop. In 2011 Federico started his career by joining youth company Agora Coaching Project, directed by Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli, where he worked with choreographers Richard Werlock, Mauro Bigonzetti, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Francesco Ventriglia, Ed Wubbe and Emanuele Soavi.
In 2013 he started an ongoing collaboration with Emanuele Soavi incompany (Cologne, Germany) as a dancer/performer and assistant choreographer in Soavi's productions. Work includes collaborations with vocal ensemble Cantus Colln (Germany), Duisburger Philharmoniker (Duisburg, Germany), Jone San Martin (former dancer from Ballet Frankfurt/The Forsythe Company), C-scope Productions (directed by former NDT/Ballet Frankfurt dancer and Jiri Kylian's assistant, Cora Bos-Kroese – The Hague, Netherlands), dutch photographer Joris-Jan Bos, german composer Wolfgang Voigt (Gas), sound designer Mikel R. Nieto and spanish video artist/performer Meritxell Aumedes Molinero. Federico has toured with shows around Germany, the Netherlands and Italy.
Other works include his role as a dancer for MMContemporary Dance Company (Reggio Emilia, Italy), Teatro dell'Argine (Bologna, Italy) and more projects across Europe.
Federico is very happy to be back as Dance Captain and thrilled for his sixth season as Father Christmas.
