Mental illness has influenced some of the greatest theatre of all time, both on and off stage, but is still rarely openly discussed. The REP is bringing this controversial topic to the forefront with a festival dedicated to mental health featuring some of the area’s leading writers and performers.
Our specially programmed productions, The Anatomy Of Melancholy and Mess will be surrounded by workshops and debates tackling different aspects of mental health. Join us for this exciting, entertaining and enlightening exploration of a sensitive subject and help us to demystify mental illness.
Presented by Birmingham Repertory Theatre in association with Birmingham & Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust.
