REP Insight - Looking For Yoghurt

Yoghurt World

Yoghurt World

At some performances of Looking For Yoghurt there will be a demonstration in The REP’s foyer of Yoghurt world, which has been developed on the Playstation 3 by year six pupils at Reaside School. If you have access to a PS3 and the game Little Big Planet, you can go online and search for Yoghurt World. This will give you the chance to follow Yoghurt’s paw prints into the world of Norang, Aka and Blue, to dig for Brazil, and to collect little prizes along the way. The game has been develpoed with all of the content suggested and worked on by the pupils, and Little Big Planet gives everyone in the world who has access a chance to play, comment on, edit or even add to the world. Children in Korea and Japan who see the play will be doing the same thing thing, so if you go online, please leave comments for them. Our dream is that children all over the world will be chatting, playing together and making friends in Yoghurt World, just as Norang, Aka and Blue do in the play.

Currently the game Little Big Planet is only available for the Playstation 3, but it will be launched later this year on the PSP as well.
