Devising Workshops

The first period of devising workshops took place in May 2008 in Seoul and Tokyo. Actors from all 3 countries worked together using improvisation methods to explore the key themes of the play and to enable the writers to develop the story and characters. They worked with children in schools in both Korea and Japan to draw out their views on personal and global issues as well as stimulating their creative responses to their fears and concerns. In particular they explored the nature of monsters and how they can conquer/ overcome them.
