
Norang
Norang is Korean. She is afraid of the dark but not a weak character. Her only real friend is a stray cat called Yoghurt. She is the poetic voice of the play, the most musical, imaginative and her sense of hope and of determination are at core of the play.
Norang is played by YoungJu Park.

Aka
Aka is Japanese. He is adventurous, rebellious, and political. His parents worry about him, because he questions too much, and fantasises…he has dreams. He believes that what is being built behind the fences is wrong. He is not ultimately as brave as he appears, and he thinks the machines on the building site are monsters.
Aka is played by Yudai Kano.

Blue
Blue is English. He is guarded, quiet and thoughtful. He believes that by hiding in the building site he will be safe from monsters. He is sometimes uncommunicative but determined, and practical.
Blue is played by Daniel Naddafy.

Ayako Kaihatsu
Ayako Kaihatsu is the musician in Looking For Yoghurt. She is Japanese.
