Art Class
On Thursday mornings local residents meet at St George’s Court – The REP’s temporary administrative base in the Jewellery Quarter – for drawing and painting classes. The group work with local art tutor Jenny Ricks to develop their skills and have exhibited in The REP gallery spaces on several occasions. The class covers topics like abstract art and landscape and regularly use The REP’s shows as their inspiration.
The Art Class are an important part of The REP’s Learning & Participation programme, and we’re delighted to be able to continue their work while The REP are working away from our Broad Street home. Many of the art class participants have been attending classes at The REP for seven years!
