Young REP Summer School
The REP’s Youth Theatre, The Young REP, are running a two week Summer School for young people aged 12-18 who are interested in drama.
Taking the themes of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night as their inspiration, participants will create a piece of theatre which they will perform at the reopening of The Old Rep Theatre in October.
This is a great opportunity for any enthusiastic and committed young person aged 12-18 to gain acting, devising and theatre skills, and to perform at the reopening of the original home of Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
The course runs from Mon 28 July to Fri 8 August, from 10am – 5pm Mondays to Fridays.
There is a fee of £100 to take part, and some bursaries are available – places on the project are limited to 20.
If you’re interested in getting involved, please email your full name, age and contact details to ian.nicholson@birmingham-rep.co.uk before 18 July.
I am part of the Summer Project, and it is really good. :)
I have met loads of interesting people, who I won't forget.
Thanks.
