Important information about disabled parking and drop-off at The REP

You may be aware that some work has recently been undertaken on the area between The REP and the ICC. The purpose of this work is to create a safer and more secure area for all customers and visitors.

It is no longer possible to drop people off directly outside the side entrance to The REP on King Alfred’s Place (the pedestrian area between The REP and The ICC leading onto Centenary Square).

Instead, the drop-off point will be on Cambridge Street, near to the mini roundabout behind the theatre. This will also apply to taxis.

There will still be a limited number of parking spaces on King Alfred’s Place for disabled customers. The ICC who manage the spaces are prioritising them for disabled people who drive themselves and therefore cannot be dropped off. As previously, these spaces need to be booked in advance through our Box Office.

There are additional disabled parking spaces on Brindley Drive (off Cambridge Street) and in the Brindley Drive multi-storey car park.
