A startling reflection on one of the most serious threats to Africa’s future, HIV/AIDS. Dealing with a serious topic, the production is laced with humour and charm as it dazzles with Orlin’s trademark ingenuity of narrative, dance and song. Using live video relay and projections, the 14-strong cast of South African performers creates a story of love, life and survival skills.
Robyn Orlin has continuously pushed the boundaries of performance arts and dance over the last 20 years. In 2003 she won the Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dance.
