When a young boy’s snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve the two set off on a night time quest for adventure. On their travels they meet dancing penguins, reindeer and crowds of the Snowman’s friends.

Will the Snowman escape the clutches of the evil Jack Frost as he soars through the night sky? And will he get his new friend back home before Christmas morning?

Featuring the classic song Walking In The Air by Howard Blake, The REP’s production of The Snowman has thrilled audiences since its premiere in 1993, and makes a welcome return to Birmingham this December.

This show is fabulous, have seen it twice and no doubt will be going again in Dec 20011. Would highly recommend it for everyone

Hi, I was hoping 2 take my daughter to see the snowman but I cannot find a date for this current year? Is the performance not running for 2010?

Many thanks

Susan wylde.

Is the snowman running in Dec 2010 or Jan 2011? Many thanks

Hello all. The Snowman is next in Birmingham from December 2011.

If you'd like to see where else it's playing, there's a page at www.birmingham-rep.co.uk/about/snowman-home/where-can-i-see-it that lists all the tours.

When and where can I purchase tickets?

where do I book tickets for the snowman please

Hello Aimee and Sue. You can book tickets by calling 0121 236 4455, by visiting our Box Office (which is now based in the lobby of Central Library) or by using the blue 'Book Now' button near the top of this page.

hiya is three years old too young for this production? many thanks

Hi Kate. No, that's not too young. I think your three year old will love it!

We took our 3 year old son to see this a couple of years ago, it was absolutely magical! (I had a little tear on the way out!) I would reccommend it for anyone at christmas time! This year we are going again with our son who is now 5 and our baby son 12 months. A real treat and a super alternative to the a panto (and far more memorable!).
