When a young boy’s snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve the two set off on a night time quest for adventure. On their travels they meet dancing penguins, reindeer and crowds of the Snowman’s friends.
Will the Snowman escape the clutches of the evil Jack Frost as he soars through the night sky? And will he get his new friend back home before Christmas morning?
Featuring the classic song Walking In The Air by Howard Blake, The REP’s production of The Snowman has thrilled audiences since its premiere in 1993, and makes a welcome return to Birmingham this December.

Hello all. The Snowman is next in Birmingham from December 2011.
If you'd like to see where else it's playing, there's a page at www.birmingham-rep.co.uk/about/snowman-home/where-can-i-see-it that lists all the tours.

kate from sutton coldfield
Hi Kate. No, that's not too young. I think your three year old will love it!
Clare from The REP
We took our 3 year old son to see this a couple of years ago, it was absolutely magical! (I had a little tear on the way out!) I would reccommend it for anyone at christmas time! This year we are going again with our son who is now 5 and our baby son 12 months. A real treat and a super alternative to the a panto (and far more memorable!).

This show is fabulous, have seen it twice and no doubt will be going again in Dec 20011. Would highly recommend it for everyone
