I think its great that the REP is doing an open day and should it have it on for two days and also do them more often. For people who can't make it on a Saturday it would be nice to have one in the week or even on a Sunday so the whole family could come down.

Vicki - thanks for your comment, I'm sorry to hear you're not able to come to our Open Day, it should be a great day. In terms of costume, I suggest you contact Costumia http://www.costumia.co.uk who should be able to help you out. They hire out many of The REP's costumes at very reasonable rates. And do book early for An Inspector Calls - it has sold out on the last two occasions it visited The REP! All best wishes Steph Falkiner

Thank you for a lovely day at The Rep's Open Day. It was splendid. The prop's were interesting and the costume area entertained me for quite a while. I thought the workshop area and backstage was completely compelling as although i come to The Rep frequently, it's something we don't normally see. The stage was a lot smaller than i thought it would be, once on it. The day was made EVEN better by bumping into 4 main players from "Our House" and getting their autographs as I have seen the show now three times this run. It's fabulous. What amazing stamina, strength and energy the cast have. Well done to all involved. A day to remember. x

Thank you for a great day on Saturday. I came with my children and they loved looking at the costumes, they even bought a few bits. They enjoy watching the young reps at the workshops And could not believe how great the young budding actors, Actresses are, the man who led the workshop was certainly getting the most out the young people involved, and in turn they were really enjoying themselves I looking forward to taking them to see a show, I think they will get even more from the experience Well Done to All at the REP.

Your open day sounds wonderful, but unfortunately, I will be out of the area for the day. I will be looking out for the next open day with interest. I am especially interested in any props (for sale or hire) that you may have relating to the 40s or 50s (we are going to the Goodwood Revival meeting at the end of the year, so would love to dress the part and am looking for 'inspiration and direction'). Is there anyway you can advise/help me out. Many thanks Vicki I read with interest that you have An Inspector Calls - whcih I did while at school. We will definately be getting tickets for that one!
