Once there were two children
One child like to build things… up, up, up!
The other child liked to knock things down,
Bang, clang!

A show that’s all about bridges!
Bridges that get built and knocked down, bridges you can climb over and crawl under.
Magic bridges, bridges that tell stories of hungry trolls and greedy goats.
Bridges where people can meet and if they’re lucky, make a friend!

Using rhythm and vocal play, shoe boxes, card and the world of the imagination, two quite independent individuals discover ways to play together and reach each other.

Looking at the dynamics of how young children play both alone and together this production brings to life some of the humour, pathos and ridiculousness of bridging two separate worlds with all the problems and hiccups that entails.

Tell Tale Hearts has been making theatre exclusively for children since 2003. In that time it has become established as one of the most respected companies making work for early years.
