Created from stories told by nursery children after their visit to a magical forest, Finding Leaves For Soup is a delightful, intimate performance with live music that will transport its audience to a magical world of stories.
Theatr Iolo joined forces with the Forestry Commission, taking nursery children on a journey in Hensol Forest where they met two very special characters who welcomed the children to their magical world.
The children then were encouraged to tell their own stories, which have been immortalised in Finding Leaves For Soup, entrancing children and adults alike. Stories of magic soup, of discovery, of sailing boats and climbing trees… and especially of friendship. Finding Leaves For Soup is a play for nursery children, using exclusively the words of their peers.
