Music by John Kander, Lyrics by Fred Ebb

Willkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome…

Following its sell out run last year the multi-award-winning production of Cabaret, starring Wayne Sleep as the notorious Emcee, makes a welcome return to The REP this Autumn.

Since its Broadway premiere in 1966 and the famous movie version with Liza Minnelli, Michael York and Joel Grey, Cabaret has won a staggering number of stage and screen awards including 8 Oscars, 7 BAFTAs and 13 Tonys. This “Sensational” double Olivier Award winner and Variety Club Awards ‘Best Musical’, which enjoyed a record-breaking run in London’s West End, turns Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a sassy, sizzling haven of decadence…

From the creators of hit musical Chicago, Cabaret features show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre including Mein Herr, Maybe This Time and of course Cabaret.

Come to the Cabaret – it’s divine decadence darling!

Tracey from Birmingham

Hi, Could you tell me if this is the same production as the recent one including Wayne Sleep? Many thanks

Steph from The REP

Hi Tracey - thank you for your message - This is the same production as we had at The REP last year. There will be some cast changes, but Wayne Sleep will still be playing Emcee. I hope you'll be able to come and see the show!

Lucy from Lichfield

Hey could you tell me who is playing Sally Bowles? Many thanks! x

JAY from Lichfield

Hi, Is it possible for you to tell me the dates that Siobhan Dillon will be performing (or is it all of them?) I want to book tickets for my family, but with a performance by Siobhan. Thank you.

Steph from The REP

Hello Jay - thanks for your message. Siobhan is scheduled to play Sally at all performances, barring any unforeseen circumstances!

marie ward from birmingham

Was lucky enough to come see Cabaret on Monday evening, all I can say is WOW.. thanks to all involved Marie

Alan & James from Rugby

We saw the performance this afternoon and were very impressed. The cast and band are superb, with Wayne Sleep an absolute delight. The singing and dancing was of the highest order and the storyline was good. We were especially affected by the subtle but dark tones of the nazi influence, which was very moving. We recommend anybody to see this fine production.

Anthony Smith from Bromsgrove

We really enjoyed Cabaret last night (10th Sept.)Please will you confirm who was playing Sally Bowles? Thanks.A "Brill" night was had by all.

Steph from The REP

Hi Anthony - I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed the show! Sally Bowles was played by Siobhan Dillon.

C.bo from Birmingham

We saw Cabaret Friday and we were totally blown away! We had an amazing time. It was absolutely amazing. All were spectacular especially Wayne Sleep and Siobhan Dillon. I highly recommend this production!

emma from birmingham

Siobhan Dillon as Sally Bowles what an absolute delight to watch

Jackie Charlton from birmingham

Saw the show for the first time last night. Didn't know the story line as its a show I have never been keen to see and I don't know why. The company and production were brilliant. It's been a while since I have seen Wayne Sleep and was amazed at his remarkable performance. Dancing was superb. Shioban's voice is remarkakably like Liza and Judy Garland. The last part of the perfomance was so menacing and the end left me speechless....well done everyone invovled

Jim from Rugby

We loved Wayne. He really connects with the audience ..... and he can sing as well. Siobahn is a star and it was a real pleasure to see her perform. Thanks to all of the cast for putting on such a wonderful show.

Helen from Redditch

Wow.... What a fantastic performance Siobhan and Wayne gave on Friday 18th. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole show. Helen
