“Welcome to Berlin! Walk through this famously divided city and journey into the depths of the human heart. Visit the Berlin Wall, the Brandenburg Gate and the notorious site of Hitler’s bunker. Hear stories of tragedy and lost love. Your experienced and charming guide will reveal the secrets of this city of angels and ruins, and may have a few stories of her own to tell along the way.”
Emerging Irish company Playgroup recreate their Dublin Fringe Festival hit in Birmingham – an peripatetic outdoor theatre performance about monuments and memory, the contradictory impulses to remember and forget, the way places are charged with the events that happened there, and the way we carry around all the places we’ve been inside us.
Berlin Love Tour is a guided tour of Berlin on the streets of Birmingham, lasting approximately 2hrs. Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring an open heart.
