Thomas trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

In his graduate year credits included: Jesus Christ Superstar (Actors Church, Covent Garden); The Pirates Of Penzance (Pleasance Theatre); and A Slice Of Saturday Night (Judi Dench Theatre).

Theatre credits include: The Secret Garden (West Yorkshire Playhouse); the workshops for Matilda (Royal Shakespeare Company); His Dark Materials (Birmingham Repertory Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse and UK Tour); A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Taming Of The Shrew and Babe – The Sheep Pig (Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park); Peter Pan – A Musical Adventure (Birmingham Repertory Theatre and West Yorkshire Playhouse); High Society (Shaftesbury Theatre – West End and national tour); The Wizard Of Oz; Hold Tight It’s 70s Night (Dutch and UK Tour); Aladdin (Blackfriars Theatre, Wish Ltd), as well as workshops for Love Story, His Dark Materials and Only The Brave.
