Sacha originated the role of Akthar in the award-winning National Theatre production of The History Boys. He reprised the role for the Broadway production, the international tour and the film adaptation.
Other film work includes Splintered which is set for release in 2008.
He recently won Breakthrough On Screen at the Royal Television Society Awards for his performance in the controversial drama Bradford Riots. Sacha has just completed filming on Wired; a new drama for ITV. Other TV work includes: Perfectly Frank, Weirdsister College, Altogether Now, City Central, The Last Train and Out Of Sight.
Theatre work includes: Free Outgoing, Monkery (Royal Court); Pretend You Have Big Buildings (Manchester Royal Exchange); Borstal Boy (Edinburgh Festival); Skater Boy (Theatre Royal Stratford East) and East Is East (Leicester Haymarket Theatre).
Radio credits include: Bollywood Jane, The Interpreter, Takeaway:1979, The Prospect, Excluded, The History Boys, Silver Street, Westway and Chocky.
